Polyurethane Coatings

Polyurethane Coatings

LOW PRESSURE COATINGS

STS 200 – 2:1 Polyurethane

  • Flexible, softer product ; good impact and skid resistance
  • Good for creating large scale seamless membranes, flooring, marine applications, truck bed liners and vehicles, roofing
  • Special order fire retardant version

STS 300 – 2:1 Polyurethane

  • Greater abrasion resistance than STS 200
  • Low permeability for greater chemical resistance
  • Excellent for indoor and outdoor applications
  • Great for flooring, waterproofing, coating of primary and secondary containment
  • Coating of water features and landscaping
  • Waste water containments and marine application

HIGH PRESSURE COATINGS

Armorfoam – 1:1 Polyurethane expanding foam

  • Sprays as foam then hardens to fill in cracks of varying sizes
  • Most commonly used as high R-value insulation sprayed in walls, attics, and crawl spaces and hardens to block outside air and moisture, reduce utility costs, strengthen the structure
  • Other uses include creating an insulated underlayment on the outside of primary containment for maintaining internal tank temperature; the tank is then coated with polyurea or polyurethane spray to form a tough outer shell
  • In mining applications, expanding foam reinforces highly fractured and unfractured rock for added stability and prevents minor groundwater inflow

ArmorFoam professional spray foam insulation strengthens walls and roofs to extend the life of a structure and defend against windstorms and water damage. It is specifically designed for new structures. However, this industrial spray foam insulation also works well for sealing existing foundations, pipes, attic ceilings and walls, and the underside of flooring accessed from unfinished basements and crawl spaces.

Roll On Coatings

Two ArmorThane products can be applied with a roll-on or trowel process. While these products are rolled on rather than sprayed, they are still extremely durable. They are a perfect solution for dealers who have floor projects that don’t require the proportioning equipment and safety gear

ArmorDeck Basecoat SF is a single component, high solids, solvent free, low odor, environmentally safe, liquid applied, moisture cured, aromatic urethane polyurea elastomeric waterproofing base membrane. It is typically used as an exterior coating on concrete or plywood decks, patios, walkways, marinas and sports areas.

It is imperative that ArmorDeck Topcoat be applied within 48 hours. Slip resistance Color Quartz or other abrasive materials may be applied. Decorative Color Chips are often used for design.

ArmorDeck Topcoat is a polyester, aliphatic, single component, liquid applied, moisture cured, urethane polyurea surface protection coating. This adds durability, excellent weatherability, seamless waterproofing membrane, UV resistance and abrasion resistance.

These products may be applied with a roll-on or trowel process or they can be applied with airless or conventional spraying equipment

ArmorFloor is a two component, aliphatic polyester polyurethane for use in moderate to severe chemical environments in indoor or outdoor applications. Its resilience, durability and UV resistance makes it an excellent choice for a broad range of uses. Slip resistance Color Quartz or other abrasive materials may be applied. Decorative Color Chips are often used for design.

  • Note that high-gloss floor coatings may become slippery when wet. Abrasive aggregate should be applied for a slip resistance finish. Some are not recommended for areas where people walk with bare feet.
